Mercedes Benz Slr Cars

We all know that Russians have their own way of doing things. As a matter of fact, they do everything their own way because it’s better in their opinion. If we are to take a closer look at all the cars made in Russia, it becomes very clear that they are rather built to withstand a nuclear attack, disregarding looks of functionality.

The same principle applies when we talk about the SLR McLaren envisioned by a Russian enthusiast. The man who created a Frankenstein version of the $450,000 Mercedes proved that he was determined enough to build his own supercar version of the SLR McLaren in his backyard. The Russian version of the German supercar will be called Valentina (after the artist’s wife), according to EnglishRussia.com

The “armored” Russian McLaren has its body made entirely of steel components, also being manufactured and assembled without any advanced machines or tools. It is a notable fact that the Russian designer/manufacturer has achieved a high level of dedication which resulted somehow in an odd but cool looking SLR replica. The “Mad Max” Mercedes resembles the original car in a strange way, or should we say Russian way.

Unfortunately, we do not have anymore information regarding technical specifications of the car if the manufacturing process, which must have been tough when looking at all the tiny parts welded together. However a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, even if made in rough steel, would certainly fill any auto-enthusiast’s day with a bit of cheer.
