Amir khan is one of the leading actor in bollywood.He is a film director and producer also.

FILM CAREER-

Amir khan started his career as a child actor in film named Yaadon Ki Baaraat{1973}. after in1984 Holy and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak{1988},he began his professional career in bollywood.In1989 he got first National Film Award for his role in the film Raakh.In 1996 he received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his good performance in Raja Hindustani. And he got second best Award for his performance in Lagaan.This movie nominated to Academy Award .
In 2005 Amir khan, acted in titel role in the historical movie Mangal Pandey: The Rising. For his performance in the movie Rang de basanthi he got CRITICS AWARD FOR BEST PERFORMANCE. In 2006 he directed Taare zameen par and hereceived a Filmfare Award for Best Director.
In 2008 &2009 he performed in the major grosser Ghajini & 3 Idiots. second one become highest grossing movie in bollywood in all time. Governament of India honoured him with Padma shri in 2003 & Padma Bhusan in 2010.
Early family life-

Amir khan born in a muslim family. In Bandra's hospital mumbai,Khan mother gave birth to Amir khan. Amir khan family was very active in in drama and theater induastry. Amir khan father and uncle were both film producers. His uncle dirctor and actor also.

PERSONAL LIFE- Amir khan and actress Reena Dutta married on 18.04.1986.They got tow children.In December 2002 Reena received divorce from Amir khan. Later on Amir married an assistant director of Lagaan movie, Kiran Rao{2005}

Gossips- In 2007 he feels Indian film Awards lack credibility, He was invited to have a wax imitation of him self on display in U.K but he declined & stating that it is nit importent to him...
